Woman seeks help to find husband’s killers
A middle-aged woman, Florence Imasuen, has cried out for help for her husband’s killers to be arrested.
Her husband, David Imasuen, was a community leader of Obazagbon in Ikpoba-Okha local government area, before he was abducted and later found dead in February last year.
His killer were yet to be arrested.
Speaking to reporters while giving update on the issue, Florence said life has been difficult since the death of her husband.
Florence said she and her children fled the community over fears that her husband’s killers might come for them.
She said she reported to the police but was still waiting for the outcome of their investigation even though no arrest was made.
According to her, “My huaband was kidnapped on February 11 and we did not see him again. He was killed.
“Since last year, no arrest was made. My children, Imasuen Prosper, Imasuen Hope and Imasuen Nelson have left the village.
“Nelson travelled abroad. He ran away for fear. He has been there since July this year. Prosper is no where to be found while Hope died after a little illness.
“What I want is justice. I want justice. That is what we bring peace to my heart.”
