Stop victimising widows, Pastor Agbaje
Pastor in charge of Christ Apostolic Church, Oluwadamilare Aje quarters,Okeagbe Akoko, Pastor Gabriel Agbaje, has cautioned Nigerians particularly families of late husband’s of widows not to victimize, stigmatized and deprive them from inheriting the property of their late husbands.
Pastor Agbaje urged younger widows to consider the option of a new marriage instead of getting involvement in adultery, which he said, was against Christian doctrines.
Agbaje advised widows to exhibit good characters and be role models in the society so as to earn respect, sympathyand assistance from government and well meaning people in the communities.
According to him, “Now that feeding and other living standard are skyrocketing, government, well to-do Nigerians, corporate bodies and non governmental organisations should do more for widows to cushion the effects of the current economic hardship ravaging the country.
“I urged the church to always remember the less privilege in the society in prayers and material assistance.
