Portable to Celetial: Stop judging me by appearance
Popular street-singer and wahala musician, Habeeb Okikiola known as Portable, has urged the Celestial Church of God, Goshen Land Cathedral, to stop judging him by his appearance.
Portable’s comment followed announcement by leader of Celestial Church leader, Olatosho Oshoffa, that Portable and Pasuma would no longer be present at the church’s Praise Night, scheduled to hold on December 15, 2023.
Portable was paid N5m to perform at thr Church’s praise night but his appearance was cancelled after public outcry.
The church was criticised for inviting Pasuma and Portable to perform at the programme.
But Portable, in a viral video, said he must perform at the church because he has been paid N5 million to be at event.
Speaking in Yoruba, the singer said, “Celestial church we must do the show o, you have already paid me N5 million. Pasuma will perform, I will also perform and we must do it.
“The children of God are coming. Land of Goshen Cathedral please in God’s name, consider us as children of God. Don’t judge me by my appearance.”
