Ondo 2024: Intensify door to door campaign, Mimiko tells ZLP members
Governorship candidate of the Zenith Labour Party, Dr. Abbas Mimiko, has urged members and supporters of the party to continue its door-to-door mobilisation of electorates ahead of the commencement of campaigns for the November 16th polls.
Dr. Mimiko, a Psychiatric Consultant, said the door-to-door mobilisation was to ensure the message of the party get to the people.
Mimiko, in a statement issued in Akure, said the ZLP has been receiving volunteers adding that the volunteers have been deployed to all political wards.
He said the ZLP was poised to win the polls with a wide margin.
On the high prices of food items, Dr. Mimiko said his Karije programme would ensure massive investment on agriculture and support for farmers.
According to him, “The ZLP is happy with reports from our volunteers, party members and supporters on the door-to-door mobilisation. We appreciate that the people understand our message and what we planned to do.
“We know the path to victory will not be smooth but we are determined to win the election with a comfortable wide margin.
“Ondo State can be greater and that is what the ZLP will achieve within the first 300 days in power.”
