
Ondo 2024: Butchers, Ifesowapo group, drumsupport for Aiyedatiwa
Two non-political groups in Ondo state, the National Butcher’s Union of Nigeria and Ifesowapo Elders/Youth forum, have pledged to mobilise support for the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) and its governorship candidate, Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa, in the November 16th governorship election.
The groups spoke when the met separately with Governor Aiyedatiwa in Akure.
State chairman of the Butchers Union, Comrade Sikirulai Ayinde, said members of the Union have unreserved support for the APC.
Ayinde said the members were united and willing to contribute their quota towards the development of the state.

High Chief Sarajudeen Otuyiga, who led the Ifesowapo Elders/Youth forum, said they would like him to win the November polls
Chief Otuyiga urged Aiyedatiwa to pay more attention to rural roads in Ore kingdom.
Aiyedatwa, who was represented by his Deputy, Olayide Adelami, urged them to join the move on massive local breeding of cows to support the government’s drive for food security.
