Okpebholo suspends Edo traditional rulers
Edo State Governor, Senator Monday Okpebholo, has suspended Dr. George Oshiapi Egabor, the Okumagbe of Uwano Kingdom, Agenebode, Estako East Local Government Area of Edo State over rising cases of kidnapping and killings in his domain.
Secretary to the suspended Monarch, Chief Peter Omiogbemhi, has also been arrested.
Chief Omiogbemhi was arrested over an incident that led to the death of one
Chief John Ikhamate.
The suspension of the traditional ruler, according to Okpebholo, was indefinite.
