Ijaw Association elects new Executive
The Association of Ijaw Community in Ore, Odigbo Local Government Area has elected a new executive led by Senior Boanerge Clement Brasana.
Other members of the executive were Hon Emmenuel Okaminiwei as Vice Chairman,
Okoro Baratei as Financial Secretary, Donald Ireme as General Secretary, Irrory Peresyari as Publicity Secretary amongst others.
The event was attended members of Ijaw National Congress, Egbema clan, Ijaw Youth Council Edo state Western zone, Comrade Edah Tam Nike PRO ND-PYLF Edo state chapter and other Ijaw leaders from Edo, Delta, Bayelsa and Ondo States.
The newly elected Chairman promised to unite all Ijaws in the locality,
He said the Ijaws in Ore would be more united and promised better welfare package.
Brasana pledged to work with relevant authorities to ensure the Ijaws in Ore get what is due to them.
Caretaker Committee Chairman of Arogbo LCDA, Hon Ebi Molos,, said the presence of Ijaws from other states was a testimony to the unity that existed among the Ijaws in the country.
He urged the newly elected executive to meet their target and guide the people on the path of hard work.
