FUTA VC hails Aiyedatiwa’s CPS for supporting varsity’ radio station
Vice Chancellor of the Federal University of Technology, Akure, (FUTA), Prof. Adenike Oladiji, has commended Chief Press Secretary to Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa, Prince Ebenezer Adeniyan, for extending support to encourage the training of new generation of media practitioners.
Prof. Oladiji commendation followed the support Prince Adeniyan gave to FUTA 93.1FM, the radio station owned by the varsity
In a letter dated June 13th, 2024, the FUTA VC thanked Adeniyan for his visit to the station in March and the subsequent monthly support given to the radio station since April.
Adeniyan had promised to support the organisation after being presented with the various challenges of the campus radio station.
Prof. Oladiji described the monthly donation by the CPS towards the smooth operation of the radio station as “an uncommon display of public-spiritedness.”
According to the letter, “Sir, your benevolence is certain to contribute immensely to our daily broadcast of news and programmes, as well as expand our goal to provide quality broadcasting to our teeming listeners. With this kind gesture, we are assured of your commitment to the progress of FUTA FM 93.1 and we hope that it continues for a long time to come.
“We use this opportunity to reiterate our determination to collaborate with you in promoting the efforts of the Governor, His Excellency. Hon. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, in steadying the ship of Ondo State on the path of growth and development.”
