Final year student arrested for alleged sodomy
The Police in Ekiti State have arrested a final-year student of the Federal University of Oye-Ekiti (FUOYE), Ekiti State, identified as Olalekan Oni for allegedly raping a male student.
Oni was alleged to drug his victims before having sex with them.
The suspect is in the Department of Criminology and his final year project research focused on the “Causes and youths’ involvement in criminal activity.”
A source said, “He’s an executive in the social science faculty. From what I heard, he is fond of drugging and raping young male students. This one just backfired,” a student said.
Spokesman for Ekiti State Police Command, Abutu, said confirmed that the suspect has been arrested.
“Investigation has commenced and suspect is denying it while the victim is alleging. But after the investigation, we will know who is actually telling the truth and who is lying.”
