As part of his support to ensure take off of the Faculty of Pharmacy of the University of Medical Sciences, Ondo,
The donation was made to support the institution effort to commence undergraduate studies in Pharmacy (Doctor of Pharmacy programme).
Chairman of Olu Akinkugbe Pharmacy Education Trust (OAPET), Prince Julius Adelusi-Adeluyi, who disclosed this at its Board meeting, said the Trust was in partnership with the State Government and the University in the development of the Faculty of Pharmacy.
Vice-Chancellor of the institution, Professor Adesegun Fatusi, said the donation assit the institution meet its target to completing and commissioning the Olu Akinkugbe Faculty of Pharmacy building this year.
Prof. Fatusi expressed optimism that the new academic session of the Pharmacy department would commence this year.
